This article presents an overview of two research works investigating the effect of polypropylene fibers on the properties of recycled aggregate concrete (RAC) and, particularly, self-consolidating concrete(SCC) incorporating recycled aggregates. The following properties of RAC were evaluated: compressive strength, splitting tensile strength, flexural strength, modulus of elasticity, Poisson’s ratio, density, absorption, and voids. As for the SCC including recycled aggregates, the workability, compressive strength, and tensile strength were examined.
