Abstract

The paper considers the prospects of using explainable artificial intelligence (XAI) methods in the field of electric power industry related to increasing the explainability of machine learning models and improving the understanding of their results. Common problems and limitations caused by the introduction of XAI methods in the field of power engineering and electric power systems are presented.
